Designing...
Being able to design is normal, but being able to design WELL is Difficult! Some reality shows, such as: Project Runway, America Next Top Model and Janie Dickinson Modeling Agency, made me really into the fashion stuffs. Last year, I started designing clothes. I just drew whatever came into my mind. However, I threw alway all my master pieces.
Just now, i was bored. I just took a pencil and started drawing this....
If u can see, it says STRIP SERIES. (Oppss!!! I just realised it is spelled as STRIPES) I am trying to come out a series of designs on STRIPES not Strip.
My first piece of design, it is sleeve less. I got the idea from Mrs Wong (p6 English Teacher). She always wear sleeve less shirts to school and beginning i find it so fashion-less but later i started to see the SPECIAL and UNIQUE features in sleeve-less shirt. My design is a whole piece dress but not a shirt and if u look carefully, the bottom of the dress is abit Jagged. I just that to make it feel ABIT Wild! Abit because the end of the bottom is a smooth cut.
This may look like a piece of drawing by a little boy but a clothes is not just about th design. It is also about the material it is made of and how it is being made. Also not forgetting the person wearing is important!
