For project work, we went on our field trip to Bedok Reservoir and NeWater plant. At Bedok Reservoir, we were supposed to interview the PUB officer there but he was no where to be seen.
-LOOK! It's MRS TEY! She is so eco-friendly. Wonder if the Bag is fake...
At the NeWater plant, we were give a guided tour. Some Chinese deligates were there too. :D

Global Warming- It's getting hot!
Global Warming has been the hot topic since a few years back. The temperature of the Earth may rise up to 52degrees in many years' time. Many of us already can't take the HOTness of Singapore. Imagine future generations living in HOTTER environment... ...
During Geography lesson today, we touched on Global Warming.
What have I done to prevent Global Warming today?
#1. I took bus after school.
By taking public transport, we are actually reducing the amount of harmful gases produce from the vehicles.
#2. I had fruits for lunch.
I was taught that even when we eat meat, rice, etc, we are also contributing to Global Warming. So i decided to go for fruits during lunch. Anyway. another reason for taking fruits its because of my CRAZY DIET project :)
#3. I'm using an old picture for today's blog post.
Simply by not taking more pictures. It helps. I don't know how to explain. But the latest issue of 8-days said so and they also recycled their cover page with Zoe Tay's photo shoot last year.
Contradicting to the above 3 points, I...
#1. My Dad dives me to school.
NOT eco-friendly at all! Sharing public transportation with others helps save the environment :)
#2. Fruits come in plastic bags.
I bought a wedge of honeydew and cut green apples today. They came in individual plastic bags and a bigger red plastic bag which was used to put all little bags together. Not being Green at all with all those plastics~
*Ahem* Mdm Yeo *Ahem*
#3. I'm using computer.
Long hours spent in front of the computer is not good too. Not only to our eyesight but also to the environment, more energy and electricity needed.
Anyway. Let's be GREEN! :D

Its the start of term 3 and it's time to study! I doubt I have the drive to study... Haix.
School was okay today. Mdm Yeo was so happy when Nicholas presented to her the scarf the 7 of us bought from Bangalore. :D Time table changed and we will be having DnT for the last few periods of Monday.
It was usual boredom for me in class. trying to look serious during lesson and at the same time, totally bored. I sit at the side of the class, surrounded with people I wouldn't chat with. If I were to sit with my better pals, I would definitely make noises during lessons which is BAD!!
It is usual for me and Esther to bitch about people. And we came out with a conclusion today...

Let's find the link between the 2 of them. Wahaha! :D:D Miss Lam WeiFang was totally paiseh after school when I approached her about that! :P

Went to do Flash animation after school today. On the way to the computer lab, I said something like "FLASH! FLASH! FLASH! I'm Flashing!" and Mr Soh saw and heard me...:P!!
After flash, met Mrs Lim outside the library, she asked me to blog more photos on the firstjourney.blogspot.com At that time, I totally dare not look into her eyes. Because.. I was wearing coloured contact lenses and she had already warned me before.. Hehe

KungFu Panda!
Sorry for not updating my blog recently. My internet connection has got some problems plus I spoilt 2 cameras. So didn't get to take much pictures recently.
Anyway. I was out with Esther on Friday at Cineleisure for Kungfu Panda! The show is funny and cute. I remember the Master Wu Gui! :D:D It was not as nice as I expected but i learnt something from the show...
Learning point: Always believe in whatever you do.
The daddy of the Panda, which is a bird, owns a noodles stall and he told everyone that there was a secret ingredient in his soup. But in actual fact, there is no secret ingredient at all. He believed that there was something special that makes the soup nice.
We can simply apply it on our studies. Just believe in yourself that you are special and you can do well in your studies.

Selfish!
I am selfish. Why am i selfish? I feel so dumb. Sometimes I just want to get hold of things that others have. Whenever I have gotten what I wanted, I will just leave it one side. Haix. Is it the act snatching away stuffs exciting or I treat it as a challenge to me? I am a weirdo.

Bangalore Part 2
-Day 4 to Bye Bye
10 June (Tuesday)
Second day of school in Sri Kumaran. We did not get to interact much with the kids over there.
School started with some lesson on Art of Livin, it was just some breathing exercises.-Day 4 to Bye Bye

Second day of school in Sri Kumaran. We did not get to interact much with the kids over there.
Along the corridors of Sri Kumaran Children Home, you would be able to see many motivational quotes of the wall. They are really encouraging and motivational! :D
We had tea break everyday before our lunch and it is always black tea with biscuits :D

Then we were split up into 2 groups and went for Chemistry and Physics lessons respectively and we switch lessons after each.
My group went for Physics lesson first and we learn about the reflection of light through a denser medium. :D
In Chemistry lesson, we did not do any hands-on activities. The teacher showed us some experiments and the chemical reactions of some chemicals :D

After school, which ended at about 2.30, we went for shopping! The shopping areas were quite tight, we had to leave our bags outside the shop before we could enter.
Debrief At night. After debrief we had dinner... Mister Soh was proud of what we have done at the Orphanage and decided to reward us with a little elephant :)
And.. Jowie was massaging for Mister Soh!!!

11 June (Wednesday)
Morning breakfast is always bread toast for me/ us. The other food is not very good for our tummy :D
School started with Indian painting lesson. I learn that Indian painting always have double lining, etc. Mister Soh has an artistic side leh!
After learning the culture of Indian Painting, we continued with Indian dance. Famous Indian dancer who had dinner with President S.R. Nathan taught us more about Indian dance and his daughter even demonstrated for us.
The students even prepared 2 dance items for us :D
After that, it was our turn to learn dancing and in the end we just started dancing like nobody's business. Maybe I was the only one that is feeling HIGH! :D
GEEK Transformation!! We had maths lesson after that and they taught us about Verdic Maths, it is some special ways of solving maths sums that is discovered by Indian.
HOME VISIT!!!
WE were then separated into 3 groups, going to 3 different houses for home visit. I went to Ashwini's house. Her house is really nice :D
Her mum and granny kindly prepared some snacks for us. So sweet :)
We had a mini ice breaker game. Its just like the game of SNAP. Gig lost in the game and...
That is his prize!!! :D
Then many of us tried the Sarees. Mrs Lim was so excited and happy when Ashwini's Mum was dressing her up. :D
Even Nicholas tried on the Saree while I had the guy's costume, Dhoti.

Next, we went to the park for a game of basketball with 3 other friends of Ashwini.

We went back home for a sing along session, had dinner and exchanged gifts with one another. :)
On our way back to hotel. The taxi driver met with an accident. Many of us were scared and afraid and the driver even quarreled loudly. But luckily, nothing happened in the end after a long quarrel.

12 June (Thursday)
Last day in Bangalore. Still having the same toast bread for breakfast.. :D
Nicholas has been asking me on how to clear his blackheads during the trip, so i decided to take this cute shot with him :D
And...
After awhile. I dropped my camera and it is spoil.
We had jewelery making lesson in school. It was quite a nice and interesting one and after our break it was a mini farewell party for us. It was cut short because we were running out of time.
The friends from Sri Kumaran taught us some songs while we had food presentation, story telling and sing along session with them :D
After that, we exchanged gifts with our friends, exchanged emails and also took some photos. We could not bear to leave each others. I was on the verge of tears :(

We made our way to Mainland China restaurant for a buffet lunch. Many of us enjoyed it while Jeannette thought that al of their food contains either Chili or Pepper and she could not take it...
Then we went to a place where they sold all kinda of books and stationery. We all got many of the gel pens that we used for Indian Painting lesson. It is cheap and good to use :D
We went back Hotel for packing and washing up and had our last dinner there.
On the bus, I joked about Mister Soh showering with Sam...
And this was what I got from Mister Soh... :P
Arrived at the Airport. The security was really tight and Bye Bye Bangalore! :D
